RIGHT TO INFORMATION ACT (2005) provides for setting out the practical regime of right to information for citizens to secure access to information under the control of public authorities, in order to promote transparency and accountability in the working of every public authority.
According to this Act,all the administrative units are bound to provide information as requested by the Public. As per subsection (1) of section (5) and subsection (1) of section (19) of the Right to Information Act 2005, every public authority shall designate Public Information Officer(s) as required therein.
As required, the Institution has appointed PUBLIC INFORMATION OFFICER(S).
