Objectives

       Sri Kaliswari College (Autonomous), Sivakasi encourages faculty members to do consultancy service to facilitate knowledge and technology transfer contributing to economic and social impact. Consultancy activities may serve to link institute and the faculty members with industry.

Norms to be undertaken, in which consultancy activity may be permitted
  • The consultancy services provided should uphold the College’s reputation and align with its policies, functions, objectives, and interests, without causing any conflicts.

  • Engaging in the consultancy services should yield significant benefits for both the faculty and the college, such as more revenue, improved reputation, or increased faculty competence.

  • There shall be a prior written permission of the Head of Department and the Principal of the College with respect to all consultancy services rendered.

  • Any difficulty or challenge faced during the course of consultancy service should be brought to the immediate knowledge of the college and the partnering institutions/organisation.

  • Infrastructural facility provided by the College may be used for consultancy purpose.

  • The faculty should not directly or indirectly get associated with any activity which may be unethical or inappropriate.

  •  The consultancy services should not interfere in the discharge of the primary duties of faculty members of the college.

  • On completion of the consultancy, a report needs to be submitted to the college and the partnering industries/ corporates/ institutions.

  • Consultancy fee received for the rendered service may be shared in the ratio of 60:40 (60% to the College and 40% to the Faculty who undertakes consultancy services).
